We are the ONLY kit builders who offer 1/4" front and rear
canopies!
Many potential customers ask us exactly what makes our kits better than the competitions'. Well, there are several factors! First and foremost, check out what goes into the production of each of our hand laid kits:
First layer is a gray sandable gelcoat, followed by 1oz chop stran mat (that is the first layer around 5 gal of resin, that does not include the hood or trunk). After that the body gets 2 layers of 1 1/2 oz chop stran and around 10 gal of resin. Finally 2 more layers of 1 1/2oz chop stran and another 10 gal of resin. The resin we use is a high quality hand lam resin (ashland chem), the chop mat we use is also top shelf (ownes corning) so the total is 5 layers of glass all hand laid.
